Thank you for an incredible'Thanksgiving Dinner To Go'! I was able to cook the turkey in accordance with your instructions and the meat was so moist - yummy!

 Each of the sides you prepared had incredible flavor - the quality of the ingredients you chose really shone through.  

  Topping and tailing the extravaganza with a delicious curried pumpkin soup and an apple pie (which should keep us going to next week) - we couldn't have asked for anything more or different for our Thanksgiving feast.

I've always hated lamb. I can honestly say it was amazing & the best lamb I've EVER had. Melt in your mouth!! The stuffed acorn squash was to die for. The corn chowder with bacon was delicious. Even the damn salad was great. I was stuffed by the time dessert came but managed to get down a stuffed candied celery & apple & raisin crepe with homemade vanilla whipped cream that would make you cry for your momma. This boy can COOK!! OH and the smoked salt....OH MY.

In all, we had a blast spending time outside in the glorious day, talking with a universally happy crowd of farmers (perhaps there's something to that!), and finding unique new places to add to our shopping itineraries. Lester was a magnificent and deeply knowledgeable guide who could answer just about every question we had about the foods we found. How lucky we were! I mean, how many times do you find something in a store or at a market and say to yourself--what IS that? or how would I use that? It was great to have someone right there to answer us.
