Lester’s BBQ Rib School

I can’t teach you everything that I’ve learned in my 30 years of BBQing in one day – but I promise that I will leave you with the skills and information to get you on your way to creating amazing BBQ in your own back yard.  So, get your friends together and learn the secrets of slow-smoked BBQ ribs, chicken and Southern sides.

This is a day-long group class held at your home. We will start at the beginning: rib prepping, different cuts of meats, wet rubs, dry rubs, brining, different types of smoking, smokers and woods. We’ll move on through the day, learning sauces and Southern side dishes. You’ll still be learning during lunch, as I teach proper grilling techniques. Best of all, you’ll get to feast at the end of the day.

This class can be custom designed. Use it as a team-building event for your employees or co-workers or just pull together a group of friends to have a fun filled day while learning the true workings of BBQ. 

Group class of a minimum of 8 students, price of the class will also include a smoker and many of the necessary tools – the same things I use to create the ribs that I’m known for (see a review of my ribs on Yelp).

(You can turn the end of the class into a party for a small fee and invite additional guests to enjoy the final feast.)
